BMW

This one's an award winner, tying the launch of the new BMW Z8 with its appearance in "The World is Not Enough," the latest James Bond film. Opening up the 007 combination lock on the side of this faux gold bound book, reveals a back lit transparency of the car accompanied by a recorded message introducing the dealers to "Project Ecstasy," a VHS tap, fishing handbook, cufflinks and excellent fishing flies, hand crafted, of course. (well not really but strictly Bond nevertheless)


Sheraton Hotels

DDB Needham, for Sheraton Hotels, was developing a marketing kit for Hotel Managers to support the launch of their new branding campaign. They came to SPEC with a box full of goodies and we turned it into a giant jigsaw puzzle featuring the central image of the campaign, included in the puzzle; a binder, poster, a VHS tape, buttons, cards and coupons.

SPEC's expertise in the design and manufacturing of custom collateral materials has lead to the creation of a myriad of outstanding and unusual solutions.  From custom binders of all shapes and sizes to slipcases, tubes, intricate assemblies and finishing's…almost anything is possible.  Among the projects pictured here is the "Travel & Leisure" portfolio: a custom pine carrying case covered in full grain leather that holds a complete assortment of their marketing support materials.  The client, Grey Entertainment, brought SPEC all the components and we came up with 3 different approaches, all reflecting the positioning and quality of this upscale publication.
